On Friday 17 May 2019, Roberto Cassar was invited to speak at the 2nd Travel Law Forum in Athens, Greece. Roberto joined the panel treating the impact of Brexit on travel and tourism, and he presented his upcoming publication entitled ‘The Resurgence of Sovereignty v. the Freedom of Flight’ which analyses whether the current rise of nationalism and sovereignty (symbolised by landmark events such as Brexit) are set to have any implications on the air transport industry.
The Forum was organised in collaboration with the International Institute of Air and Space Law of Leiden University and it was attended by several industry leaders and stakeholders.
